Short Description of This Case
A $5.6M class action settlement will resolve claims that Washington State University failed to encrypt personal information of users that were stored on hard disk. The class-action alleged that Washington State University needs to be responsible for the data breach security incident that occurred during a cyberattack disclosed around April, 2017.
Class member who received a postcard Notice of this Settlement and be informed was affected by this Settlement and who was mailed a notice from Washington State University in or around April 2017 concerning the Security Incident.
Amount of Class Members
Up to $5,000.
