Short Description of This Case
ComplyRight has agreed to pay $3M to resolve claims that ComplyRight’s website failed to encrypt customers’ information. The class-action alleged that ComplyRight needs to be responsible for the data breach security incident that occurred during a cyberattack disclosed between April 20, 2018 and May 22, 2018, which led to customers’ personal information being exposed including names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and Social Security numbers.
Class members whose personal information was maintained on ComplyRight’s website during the Data Breach that occurred between at least April 20, 2018 and May 22, 2018.
