Short Description of This Case
The class-action lawsuit, filed in 2012, alleged that Seven CRT manufacturers: Chunghwa, Hitachi, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung and Philips unlawful conspired together to fix, raise, maintain, or stabilize the prices of cathode ray tubes (CRT), which resulted in damages to consumers and violated the federal antitrust laws.
Class members who purchased a cathode ray tubes (CRT) monitor or CRT television from a retailer or someone other than the manufacturer of the CRT for own-use and resided or had headquarters in Washington at the time of purchase between March 1, 1995 and November 25, 2007.
Amount of Class Members
Up to $20 per CRT computer monitor and $6 per CRT television.
