Short Description of This Case
The class-action lawsuit, filed in 2018, alleged that Cubamax Travel, Inc. sent unwanted text messages to class members with contents of advertising Cubamax promotions without prior permission, which violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”).
Class members who received one or more text messages on cellphone from Cubamax with contents of promoting Cubamax specials, promotions, and/or locations between Aug. 8, 2014 and Jan. 3, 2019.
