Short Description of this Case
A $4M settlement will resolves the class-action lawsuit, which filed in March, 2018, alleged that Whole Foods’ Health-Ade Kombucha drinks were mislabeled as “non-alcoholic” but actually contain alcoholic from the fermentation process, which violated California advertising laws.
Class members who purchased one or more bottles of Whole Foods’ Health-Ade Kombucha drinks between March 6, 2014 through May 24, 2019 including the flavors as follows:
Beet; Blood Orange-Carrot-Ginger; California Grape; Cayenne Cleanse; Ginger-Lemon; Holiday Cheers; Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber; Maca-Berry; Matcha+Cold Brew Coffee; The Original; Pink Lady Apple; Plum; Pomegranate; Power Greens; Reishi-Chocolate; Sweet Thorn.
Up to $80, $4 per bottle purchased, up to $40 without proof of purchase, up to $80 with proof of purchase.
