Short Description of This Case
Hot Topic，Inc has agreed to pay $3M to resolve claims that the company sent unwanted text messages to class members’ wireless telephone number without prior express written consent, which violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Class members who received one or more text messages on their cell phone from Hot Topic August 1, 2012 and July 26, 2019.
