The class-action lawsuit, filed in May, 2017, alleged that the JBS S.A. and certain of its officers made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company’s business, operational and compliance policies, which violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Class members who purchased or otherwise acquired American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”) for shares of JBS S.A. during the period from June 1, 2013 through July 5, 2017.
