Short Description of This Case
ByteDance (formerly Musical.ly) has agreed to pay $1.1 Million to settle claims that the company used to track, collect, and disclose the personally identifiable information and/or view data of children under the age of 13 without parental consent while they were using the TikTok (formerly Musical.ly) APP software, which violated Privacy Protection laws.
Class members whose children were registering for or using the Musical.ly and/or TikTok software application prior to the Effective Date when under the age of 13 and who were their parents and/or legal guardians.
Amount of Class Members
Approximately 100,000 .
Approximately from $10 to $15, depending on the number of class members who have successfully submitted the claims.

Depending on the nature of your specific claim, you may need to provide supporting materials.
