Short Description of This Case
Lloyd’s has agreed to pay to $21.95M to resolve claims that the company engaged in a deceptive scheme to conceal the lack of competition in the Market, which violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
Class members who purchased or renewed a contract of insurance with any Lloyd’s Syndicates named as a defendant(“Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London who are members of Syndicates 0033, 0102, 0382, 0435, 0510, 0570, 0609, 0623, 0727, 0958, 1003, 1084, 1096, 1183, 1245, 1886, 2001, 2003, 2020, 2488, 2623, 2791, and 2987”) in the Lawsuit between January 1, 1997 and March 25, 2019.
