Short Description of This Case
The class-action lawsuit, filed in 2014, alleged that Utz and Bachman’s snack products such as chips, pretzels and pork rinds were mislabeled as “All Natural”, but actually they contain a series of non-natural ingredients, which violated the Consumer advertising laws.
Class members who purchased Utz or Bachman snack products labeled as “all natural” between Dec. 30, 2010 and March 30, 2019 as follows:
- Utz Branded Potato Chips
- Utz Branded Baked Potato Chips
- Utz Branded Pretzels
- Utz Branded Popcorn
- Utz Branded Tortillas
- Utz Branded Snack Mixes
- Utz Branded Salsas and Utz Dips
- Utz Branded Cheese and Extruded Snacks
- Utz Branded Pork Rinds
- Bachman Branded Pretzels
- Bachman Branded Potato Chips
- Bachman Branded Tortilla Chips and Corn Chips
- Bachman Branded Cheese Snacks
- Bachman Branded Popcorn
- Bachman Branded Salsa
