Short Description of this Case
The class-action lawsuit, filed in June, 2016, alleged that Allstate failed to pay for a loss in value called “diminished value” under the UIM PD coverage of Washington insurance policies, which breached the automobile insurance contracts between Allstate and its policy holders.
Class members who were paid to have their insured vehicle repaired between May 13, 2010 and January 11 2019 under the UIM PD provision of an ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY policy issued in Washington by Allstate, and the repair estimate totaled not leaser than $1,000, and the vehicles were no more than 6 years old and had less than 90,000 miles when the accident happened; and the accident of vehicles caused structural damage, deformed of sheet metal or require of body or paint work.
